Another 10 families from Hostomel and Irpen got finnancial support
News
Ten residents of the towns of Irpin and Hostomel received financial assistance from the “Successful Ukraine” Charity Foundation.
HelpBucha project’s volunteers listened to some of the painful stories.
Vira Mykolaivna, a 71-year-old Irpin resident, survived through the active phase of the war being on her own in her house. That was pretty challenging for her physical and mental health. She says, prayer was the thing that helped. Before the war, the woman found an icon on the side of the road and took it as a sign from God. She believes God was watching over her in that darkest hour.
Olexandr Korol talked about the house the family he had been building for 10 years. “The house is completely destroyed”, said Olexandr, and bitterly pointed at a spot where a kids’ room used to be and where there are ruins now.
We admire the courage of every Ukrainian.
